After more than 20 years serving in my community as a firefighter and first responder, I transitioned into aviation with the same passion for safety, discipline, and service that defined my public service career. My journey into flight began with inspiration from my wife’s grandfather, who was a WWII naval aviator, and rapidly grew into a focused pursuit of excellence in the cockpit.
Now a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI) with over 575 flight hours and a wide range of experience in aircraft such as the Citabria, Cessna 150/172/182, Beech Baron 55, and Diamond DA20/DA40/DA42, I bring maturity, adaptability, and calm decision-making to every flight.
Based in Southwest Michigan (KAZO), I specialize in working with adult learners and professionals seeking personalized instruction with real-world perspective. Whether you’re starting your aviation journey, working toward a new rating, or looking to get current, I offer a grounded, structured approach rooted in lifelong learning and flight safety.
I look forward to working with you. Please reach out to get started today!
